The best blonde shampoo to NEVER have brassy hair!

Calling all blondes! Do you ever feel that your hair doesn't have that great shine you wish for? Is it dull? Do you find your hair goes brassy? This range is the one for you...

Introducing Blond Absolu, the brand-new range specifically for pre-lightened hair.

Instant Anti-brass Action & Fibre Protection

94% Stronger Hair

92% More Hydration

8 x Visibly Shinier

Whether its balayage, full head of highlights or global blonde colour, pre-lightener does take away the natural protective layer of the hair fibre. This can leave the hair prone to damage and loss of shine.

This new range is enriched with a combination of Hyaluronic Acid, to fill in all the gaps and replace the lost fibres, and the Edelweiss flower, which holds 1000x it’s weight in moisture, therefore replicating this in the hair.

The range includes two shampoos;

Bain Ultra Violet is an iridescent purple shampoo to neutralise brassiness and unwanted yellow tones. This shampoo contains both purple and blue pigments therefore is able to neutralise both yellow and orange tones within the hair, and means that you don't have to be a super light blonde to see the effects.

Bain Lumiere is a super lightweight everyday use shampoo, which hydrates and illuminates the hair to give luminous shine that you rarely see in pre-lightened hair.

Also included in the range, is the lightweight Cicaflash fondant to hydrate and repair the hair without weighing it down at all. If you feel you need a more intense condition or extra neutralisation, you can use the Masque Ultra-Violet which contains a deep purple pigment to neutralise unwanted yellow tones to blonde or even grey hair.

Whenever you are using heat on your hair, you must must must use a good heat protector! Cicaplasme is a lightweight leave in cream which seals split ends, smooths the hair and provides heat protection up to 230°C. This great product also contains UV filters to protect against daily oxidation and pollution in the air.

We always like to learn as much about our new product ranges in order to give our clients the best recommendations for their hair type. We recently had a training session on the Blond Absolu from Kerastase. We each had a swatch of a different shade of blonde hair, which we shampooed and conditioned in order to see the result.

Here you can see the results of the first test; on the left is the hair swatch before products were applied, and the same hair after shampooing on the right. This was achieved using Bain Ultra Violet and Masque Ultraviolet for extra neutralising. You can see that as this is a darker blonde, the result is a much more natural tone with less brassiness.

Here on the right, you can see we already have a very light blonde, with slight underlying tones of yellow. With this test, we only used the Masque Ultra-Violet and left on for 2-3 minutes to achieve this result of a very cool ash blonde. We loved being able to test this range on a variety of different blonde shades and love the effect that it gives for clients wanting to maintain their highlights at home.
